The Minstrel Foundation held its annual fundraising Gala “An Evening with Heather Bambrick” at the Granite Club on June 15th, 2011. Along with great food and ambiance there was an abundance of terrific music by the Humber College Jazz Ensemble, Heather Bambrick, the host of Jazz FM91’s “Sunday Afternoon Jazz” and weekdays “Dinner Jazz” and a special guest performance by Chris Donnelly. The lively crowd, generous corporate support, and terrific entertainment made this year one of the best and most successful events in the history of the Foundation, raising over $110,000 for music and arts programs for inner-city youth.
