"A Magical Musical Evening Underneath The Stars" 2006

Dr. Peter and Susan Schaal once again opened their magnificent Rosedale garden on June 13 for the Minstrel Foundation’s annual “Music at Twilight” summer fundraising gala. Over 180 guests enjoyed an evening of music, supper and wine enlivened by the humour of Don Harron, the hosting of Beth Harrington, and the songs of Robert Pilon. As guests browsed the silent auction throughout the evening, they sampled tastings of Glenfiddich single malt Scotch and Taylor Fladgate Ports. During dinner, students from the Dixon Hall Music School and Music By The Lake Summer Camp entertained the guests.

After the excitement of the live auction led by Robert Pilon, our auctioneer of distinction. Don Harron’s witty after dinner entertainment was the perfect ending to a delightful evening. The evening raised over $80,000 for childrens’ music and arts programs.
